THIS WEEK
This week in
Kindergarten we focused on Spiders. On
Monday, we began our discussion of
Spiders by sharing what our Schema was for Spiders and we added to our chart as
we discovered new learning. We are
continuing to learn about making connections and created a “spider web” to
share how all of our connections help our own schema grow. We
read many fiction and non-fiction Spider books this week – our favorite being
The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle.
We completed our
Math Assessments this week and are looking forward to beginning our Math Unit
on Patterns.
THANK YOU’S
Thank you to those
who sent in orange pop for our End of the Quarter Party. It is so hard to believe that ¼ of our year
is already gone. I am so thankful to
have such a great and wonderful group of students. We are having such a great time
